Alaina Sheer

In a previous life Alaina Sheer was a radio news reporter, anchor and then a morning show co-host. The experience, eight years of it, taught her an invaluable lesson about communicating with the masses in a clear, entertaining and informative voice. She then left her radio career and stepped into marketing and advertising.

After years of working on traditional media campaigns Alaina stumbled across her first website re-design for the Athens County Convention and Visitors Bureau. She would soon be spending countless hours molding the content to fit search patterns and watching the site’s traffic balloon to over 300% its original size in just one year. Less than one year later, Fahlgren Advertising in Columbus, Ohio hired her on as a senior interactive copywriter. Between writing highly engaging copy for websites and crafting award winning online banner campaigns Alaina was also experimenting in social marketing by blogging.

Her personal blog, which reaches fellow single mothers now has over 20,000 unique visitors a month who view over 150,000 pages a month. The traffic is a result of her compelling content but it’s also due to an immense amount of time intensive SEO, SEM and grassroots social marketing efforts. And while social marketing can be a very powerful tool for any brand, Alaina believes every campaign must start with one simple grain of truth – the keyword. This unlocks a door leading to countless opportunities in the social media landscape. Using our keywords as a guide we, as marketers, can create compelling, highly engaging and highly effective online marketing campaigns.

John Sammon

Giving a title to a guy who has a Master’s degree in Visual Communications–Interactive Multimedia isn’t easy. So we call him a Senior Developer for short, but John is also a search and social strategist who just doesn’t build Web sites (because that would be too easy), he builds a strategy and a foundation to drive traffic to Web sites.

His strategies aren’t limited to the technical side of things, they are rooted in the human element–how and what drives people to a site through keywords they search or social avenues they travel.

Before joining Cement Marketing John propelled client sites to the top of search rankings while serving as an Interactive Strategist at Paul Werth in Columbus and he also revamped the Playhouse Square Web site in Cleveland while serving as the famed theatre’s interactive lead.

If you still aren’t convinced of his mad SEO and social skills take a look at his pride and joy, the Web site for his Uncle Marc’s crystal repair business–www.BrueningGlass.com, which now outranks Waterford Crystal for the term “crystal repair”.

Brad Spencer

At just 20-years-old Bradley Spencer returned home from a trip abroad and realized joining the job force along with his peers wouldn’t cut it. Instead he learned everything he could about Web Design, Programming, Marketing, and how the Internet worked. That was four years ago. Today, at just 24-years-old, Bradley Spencer is on the cutting edge of anything involving Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization. He takes a holistic snapshot of a client’s problems and then makes suggestions and changes specific to their needs.

Bradley never shies away from a challenge and always pushes the boundaries of what can be accomplished. As Brad says, “everyone in this industry is just learning and things that were once regarded as impossible are now normal. For that reason, I think it is imperative for any Web Business to find someone whom they trust to apply their mixed palette of skills, experiences, and creativity to problems. Because the status quo doesn’t cut it in this business”

Nope. It definitely doesn’t. That’s why it’s best to have a Brad in your corner.
